Sometimes I get super emotional thinking about my children’s life and how much I love them and hope that I am doing right by them!

I wont say that I didn’t have a good mom because on paper I did. She was always there physically but not emotionally or mentally and that had left a huge toll on me as an adult. There are so many parts of me that aren’t healed and my inner child sometimes feels it.

My goal is to try and be the parent I wish I had and sometimes it’s hard because the blueprint on how to be I never received.

So I am here to tell you mama even if you weren’t taught the mechanics of being a mom you are a great one. I see you and I know how hard it is to push past your own hurt to make sure we aren’t hurting our babies.

Here is an easy dinner idea the whole fam will love !

—Chili Cheese Dog Bake—

INGREDIENTS:

✔️A pack of bun length hotdog
✔️Hot dog buns
✔️ Can of chili (I used no bean)
✔️Fine shredded cheese of choice

Directions:
•preheat oven to 350
•put hot dog bun in a 9x12 baking dish
•add hot dogs to buns
•put can of chili on the hot dogs
•add cheese
•cover and bake for 15-20 mins

Boom ya done sis! Easy meal. I pair it with fries or tots !

I lived many years equating my happiness to my ability to make those around me happy. In doing this I have been left unsatisfied with myself.

I promise I can blame so much on the trauma I’ve endured during my 32 years on my parents, siblings, people I thought were friends, and past romantic relationships. However ultimately it is down to me how I keep pushing through this life.

Don’t allow what has happened to you determine what will become of you!

You are beautiful, you are safe, you are free, you don’t need to be like them , you just need to be who you want to be.

This summer I really practiced at taking part of the day for 30 minutes to myself. Idc what it was as long as it was something that rejuvenated my soul.

As a collective we as mothers need to STOP allowing the people who only catch a second of our lives, the people who aren’t doing the work of being our children’s mother, and all those perfect opinionated people that struggle just as we do, come and make us doubt ourselves.

Let me ask you this.
Do you love your babies?
Do you provide for them?
Protect them?
Shelter them?
Show them affection?
Make sure they are clothed and fed?
Worry about them?

If you answered any of those yes then congratulations 🎉 sis you’re a PHENOMENAL MOM! As long as you show up and show out for them babes then sis I applaud you.
